The Waste Prevention and Management Regulations 2012 will be strictly implemented and monitored from tomorrow. Thimphu Thromde is all geared up to strictly monitor the waste in and around the city. More than 200 Thimphu Thromde officials will be monitoring the sites.
To start implementing the Regulation tomorrow, the Thromde officials will conduct awareness programmes with banners and posters in and around the city.
After this awareness, the Thrompon said no one can escape from the penalties if they are found violating the rules.
