A 20-year-old man is under the Thimphu police custody for an alleged battery case. He was arrested today after the video of the incident, in which he is involved, went viral on social media since yesterday.
In the video, the suspect is seen assaulting a 17-year-old boy.
According to the police, the incident happened last month in Babesa and had gone unreported. While the case is under investigation, the police are yet to find the person who recorded the video.
