Open National Badminton Championship begins

More than 60 participants from across the country will compete in six different categories over the next four days as the Open National Badminton Championship began in Thimphu today.

The participants include athletes, students and civil servants. Bhutan Badminton Federation conducts the annual event to select potential players and to promote the sport in the country.

The 5-day championship will conclude on Sunday.
