A two-storey traditional house in Maenkhar under Udzorong Gewog in Trashigang was razed to the ground by a fire yesterday.
The incident occurred at around 9:30 pm. At the time of the incident, the family were sleeping inside the house.
The family escaped unhurt but they lost all their belongings.
Although the cause of the fire is not known, the house owner said the fire started from the kitchen.
Meanwhile, the Dzongkhag Kidu Office provided the Royal Semso to the family.
