His Holiness the Je Khenpo is presiding over the third annual Moenlam Chenmo in Punakha, which began from today. Thousands of devotees including monks and nuns are attending the three-day prayer ceremony at Thangzona.
His Holiness also presided over the one hundred thousand recitation of Maitreya’s prayers at Kabji Chorten Ningpo yesterday.
After the Moenlam Chhenmo ends, His Holiness will preside over other religious ceremonies such as Mani Kabum, Chakchen Jazhung, and Sangay Menla Kawang for about two weeks.
