Following the audience, the members of the Interim Government led by the Chief Justice Tshering Wangchuk met the Cabinet Secretary, government secretaries and staff of the Cabinet Secretariat at Gylayong Tshogkhang and thanked the civil servants for their support in making the tenure of the Interim Government a success.

A news release from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said the Chief Advisor commended the civil servants for their service to the nation and expressed confidence that they will serve the incoming government with unstinting dedication in the service of the Tsa-Wa-Sum.

The Chief Advisor also met with the media representatives at a press conference in the afternoon and briefed them on major activities undertaken by the Interim Government.

He thanked the media for responsibly covering the recent elections and underscored their critical role in democracy.
