The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) forwarded an attempted rape case involving a police man to the Thimphu District Court last month.
The 36-year-old man is accused of attempted rape of his school going 15-year-old stepdaughter.
According to the OAG report, the man began molesting the victim earlier in the year and attempted to rape her in June.
He made another rape attempt during the summer holidays this year.
The investigation report says the girl shared about the incidents to her friends in school who, in turn, reported it to the school authorities.The school authorities then reported it to the police.
The accused, however, denies all allegations.
