In the second season of the Winter Football Championship, played on Thursday at the Changlimithang, team Tensung FC claimed victory against team Bulls United FC. The match was a close combat between the two as the former emerged the winner only through penalty shootout.
In the beginning of the match, Bulls United FC came in very strong with 2 goals lead just in about 15 minutes. However, the precedence was short-lived when Tensung FC scored 2 continuous goals equalising the lead.
It went on till half time with a draw score. But, after half time, both the teams again played on, at 3-3 draw. The match went on to the added time but still the teams proved to be equally strong.
Finally the match led to penalty shootout, where Tensung FC won. Cold coupled with rain and wind also deterred the players to give their best. The tournament which kicked off on 22 February was organised by High Quality Group of Companies. And its objective was to keep youth engaged in positive and fun-filled recreational activities.
