Bengaluru FC to host Transport United in AFC Cup Qualifiers second leg

After being held to a goalless draw in the first leg, Transport United is in Bengaluru ahead of their second leg match against the Blues, tomorrow.

Bengaluru FC needs a clear win to qualify whilst a draw by any margin will take Transport United in to the next round.

After leaving Changlimithang empty handed, Bengaluru returned to winning ways when they overcame NorthEast United 2-1 in the Indian Super League, last Friday.

Transport United traveled to South India without their midfielder, Purna Kumar Pradhan. The squad arrived in Bengaluru, yesterday,  and took part in an official training today. Transport’s squad is expected to remain unchanged with Hari Gurung wearing the captain’s armband.

With qualification into the AFC Cup at stake, and Transport’s resilient performance during the first-leg in mind, Bengaluru will field a strong team. Sree Kanteerava Stadium, the Fortress of Bengaluru FC will host Transport United. The match will start at 8:30 PM Bhutan time.
