The case involving six men, who allegedly stole two elephant tusks, from a house in Lungtenphu, in March, is in Thimphu District Court.
The Office of the Attorney General submitted their rebuttal to the court against the six suspects, today.
Of the six suspects, four are armed force personnel.
Two police personnel were released on bail.
They have been charged with official misconduct, burglary, and possession of stolen property.
The case was forwarded to the court, last Tuesday.
Thimphu Police arrested the suspects when they were allegedly attempting to sell the stolen property.
