Bhutan-India Development Cooperation Talks to be held

The fourth Bhutan-India Development Cooperation Talks of the 11th Five Year Plan will be held in India’s capital New Delhi, tomorrow.

A 12-member Bhutanese delegation led by Foreign Secretary, Tshering Dorji, and senior government officials left for New Delhi, today.

The Indian delegation will be led by Ministry of External Affairs’ Secretary, Sujatha Mehta.

A press release from the foreign ministry says the two sides will review the overall progress of Project Tied Assistance (PTA) and Small Development Projects, 11th Plan fund disbursement status, reprioritization of PTA projects and release of funds.

During the Third Bhutan-India Development Cooperation Talks of the 11th Five Year Plan, which was held in Thimphu on September 11 2014, 85 projects amounting to Nu 27 B was approved.
