OAG forwards chorten vandalism case to court

ChortenVandalism-OAG-MonggarDistrictCourtThe Office of the Attorney General (OAG) has forwarded the case involving 26 individuals accused of chorten vandalism in Monggar to the District Court. The miscellaneous hearing was held today.

Of the 26, two accused were released without any charges against them due to lack of evidence. The rest were charged for vandalism, solicitation, purchase of illegal items, failure to report the crime among others.

Some of the individuals have as high as 23 charges pressed against them.

The next hearing will be conducted within 10 days.
