A six-member Bhutanese team is in Bangladesh for a Bird Photo Exhibition. Large colour prints of birds found in Bhutan and Bangladesh were displayed during the event.
There were 25 exhibits from Bhutan, and 38 from Bangladesh.
The exhibition is part of a cultural exchange programme begun between Bhutan and Bangladesh during the Bhutan Climate Summit held in Thimphu in November 2011.
The exhibition is the second such exhibition undertaken by the birding communities of the two countries. The first one was held in Thimphu in March, last year.
