A CSO donates medical equipment worth Nu.1.8 million

CSO-EquipmentA Civil Society Organization, Bhutan Foundation, has handed over the Simulator, Manikins and Emergency Training Equipment worth Nu.1.8 million to the Ministry of Health.

Later the equipment were handed over to the Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital to be used in the emergency education centre which will be established soon.

The Simulator, Manikins and Emergency Training Equipment will help to improve emergency medical services in Bhutan. It will be used by all the health workers to pursue clinical practices in healthcare centers and facilities.

The equipment were requested by the Emergency Medical Services under the Ministry of Health to use during the setting up of emergency care centre in JDWNR Hospital.
