The Bangladesh Embassy in Thimphu observed Independence and National Day of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh today.
The day remembers the father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who declared the independence of Bangladesh from Pakistan in the early hours of 26 March 1971.
