NC adopts Property Ownership Transfer Tax Bill of Bhutan 2020

The National Council adopted the Property Ownership Transfer Tax Bill of Bhutan 2020 which was the then Property Tax Bill of Bhutan 2020 when it was first tabled.

It was adopted with a majority of 21 votes out of 22 members present. The House endorsed recommendations made by the Economic Affairs Committee such as changing the title of the Bill, commencement date and other changes. The Bill with the amended clauses will be submitted back to the National Assembly for final adoption.
