A truck veered off the road and plunged into the river at Damchu in Chhukha early morning yesterday. The rescue team are still searching for the body of the driver.
He was alone at the time of the incident. According to the sources, the truck was ferrying cement from Gomtu. The truck entered Chhukha check post at 2 AM. The cause of the accident is suspected to be fatigue driving.
