Man sentenced for molestation

Trashi Yangtse District Court sentenced a 43-year-old man to six and a half years in prison for molesting his 15-year-old daughter.

The incident happened at their home in May this year. The victim’s school administration reported the case to the police.

The victim and a relative had first approached the Gewog’s Mangmi who then forwarded it to the school administration.
