2 missing persons yet to be found

Police in Bumthang are still working on recovering the body of a 13-year-old boy who was washed away by  Chamkharchhu a month ago.
Police fear there’s little chance, though, of finding the body.

They think the monsoon fed swollen river could have washed the body further downstream.

The boy is a class six student of Gangrithang Primary School. He was swimming in the river with three other friends when the incident happened.

The police are also searching for a 32-year-old man who went missing in June from Dhur Tshachu in Bumthang.

The man from Dhur Goenthey had gone to Dhur Tshachu to collect cordycep from where he had not returned.  Dhur Tshachu is four days walk from his home in Dhur Goenthey.

The man is suspected to have been washed away by Dhur river.
