27-year-old Changa Dawa will represent Druk Phuensum Tshogpa (DPT) from Khatoed_Laya constituency in Gasa. He had worked as a programme officer in one of the Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) for two years.
Changa Dawa has a Bachelor’s Degree in Language and Literature from the College of Language and Culture Studies (CLCS) in Taktse.
Meanwhile, the party has replaced its candidate from Bji_Kar_Tshog_Uesu constituency in Haa. 26-year-old Sonam Tobgay will replace former candidate Phub Rinzin.
Prior to joining the party, Sonam Tobgay worked as a tour guide. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Bhutanese and Himalayan Studies from CLCS.
DPT has declared 33 candidates so far.
