Continuous rain in Tsirang damaged several farm roads in Kilkhorthang Gewog, making it difficult for vehicles to ply through. Barshong farm roads at Sallarey and Mini khola were also washed away hampering local buses. Though the local leaders informed the Department of Roads, officials say they are focusing on National Highways, only after which the farm roads will be attended to.

19-year-old woman gang raped in Thimphu

A 19-year-old woman was gang raped on Wednesday, during the night of Vishwakarma Puja in Thai Temple area in Thimphu. The incident took place at around 10:30 pm.
