Commemorating the 40th Birthday of His Majesty The King, the Royal Civil Service Commission (RCSC) launched Zhiyog Electronic System (ZESt) for the Civil Service. It is a web-based system to enhance human resource management in the civil service.
ZESt is designed to ensure efficient and effective decision making and to reduce administrative burden in the civil service.
“ZESt is a much more enhanced system in a sense that it now has a self-service window where civil servants can check their leave record and many other records. The system also has other automated features in a sense that the HR rules have many clauses which are time-bound like promotion. So what this system does is it will auto prompt all those features and make HR responsibilities much faster and efficient,” said Tashi Pem, the Director of RCSC.
The system is expected to contribute towards the Commission’s efforts of digital transformation and pave the way forward in using technology for better, faster and effective business in the civil service.
