‘We have grown better than yesterday’. This was the message the youth participants shared as the first ever Youth Leadership Training ended at Kamji Middle Secondary School on Sunday.
The education minister, Thakur Singh Powdyel graced the closing ceremony.
Sangay Khandu, 17, a student of Lango Middle Secondary School, was tad timid when he first came for the training. But the three-week long camp changed him. He says he can now speak in public confidently.
Like Sangay, most participants are going home with changed personalities.
