Yongphula Domestic Airport’s maintenance delayed

Yongphula Domestic Airport’s maintenance delayedMaintenance of Yongphula Domestic Airport is yet to start. The information and communications minister, D.N Dhungyel had earlier told BBS, that the work was to begin from first week of May.

The contractor, responsible for the maintenance, said he needs about a week to set up for the work to begin. Some of the labourers are already at the site and machines are on the way, according to the contractor.

Asian Development Bank is funding the maintenance through grants with a total cost of over Nu. 199 M.
