The Thimphu city police have detained two men for stabbing a 24-year-old man last night.
The victim who is in critical condition has sustained a 15 inch stab wound on his stomach.
The incident occurred at around 12 o’clock midnight while the victim and a friend were whiling away their time at an entertainment centre. They reportedly saw the suspects shouting and were escorting them outside when one of them turned around and stabbed the victim.
The suspects, aged 74 and 44, were allegedly under the influence of alcohol when the incident took place.
