Paro District Court sentenced a 34-year-old woman to 30 years imprisonment for murdering a couple.
The district court has also asked the convict to pay compensation of more than Nu 985,000 to the children of the deceased within 10 months.
The verdict, passed today, said the woman murdered both the husband and wife in July last year in Paro, under the influence of alcohol.
It also said the three had no animosity and that the convict acted purely under the influence.
