People are still spreading false information despite repeated pleas from the government to refrain from doing so. There is something fabricated around Covid-19 every other day. The most recent false information doing rounds on social media is that people can get aware of the Coronavirus using free internet recharge provided by the World Health Organization (WHO).
The WHO country office is asking people not to take any information on Covid-19 from sources other than the credible ones.
“For correct information about Covid-19 or any health-related subject that anyone is interested in, please visit the webpage of MoH, the webpage of the WHO and also on their respective social media. Don’t pick up from anything other than the web pages that I mentioned,” said Dr Rui Paulo de Jesus, the WHO Representative to Bhutan.
