Team Gyaltsa Tewa have won the finals of the Departmental Volleyball tournament. Wearing blue, the team faced Team City Police in light green. Today’s game went to the deciding fifth game.
Team Gyalsa Tewa won the first and second games while the City Police fought back to win the third and fourth games.
Gyalsa Tewa won the final Game and the match, 16 to14.
The Winners were awarded medals, a trophy and a cash prize of Nu. 30,000. The runners up also received medals, a trophy and Nu. 20,000. The best player of the tournament, Ram Bahadur from team High Court received Nu. 5,000.
The tournament was organised by Woezer events in collaboration with the Bhutan Volleyball federation.
