The Prime Minister and the Bhutanese delegation, who were on a six days official visit to India arrived back in Bhutan yesterday afternoon. While in India, the Prime Minister called on the Indian Prime Minister, the President, UPA chairperson and met with other top Indian officials. Lyonchhen also visited HITEC city in Hyderabad.
The Prime Minister was in India on the invitation of the Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. He was accompanied by Aum Tashi Dolma, Foreign Minister Rinzin Dorje and other senior officials.
Soon after arrival, the Foreign Minister Rinzin Dorje described the visit as fruitful. He said the delegation led by the Prime Minister visited India to further strengthen relations with India and to finalise the budget for the eleventh five year plan. He said both the objectives have been fulfilled.
