Information includes such as income from natural resources, pollution, environmental degradation emission and depletion of natural resources among others.

The Chief Adviser with Statistics Denmark, Ole Gravgard Pedersen said such tools help influence decision making and information dissemination and ultimately lead to proper management of resources.

“We have been talking a lot about our environment, we are known as one of the hotspots for biodiversity. And also our eleventh plan is a green plan, which is about environment,” said NSB’s Director General, Kuenga Tshering. That is why, Kuenga Tshering, said NSB thought environment accounting system should be initiated.
