(Murder update): Two men, who were detained in connection with the murder of the 48-year-old Indian man last Thursday, have confessed to the crime. The duo, both in their early twenties told police that the stabbing incident took place after a scuffle with the deceased outside a drayang in Changjalu in Thimphu.
The deceased was stabbed on his right thigh and no other injuries were found on his body.
The police have recovered 8500 Indian Rupees and the mobile phone of the deceased. The deceased was a consultant with the Bhutan Power Corporation. The case will be forwarded to court after further investigation.
