Trashigang reports damages following earthquake

Trashigang reports damages following earthquakeForty-two houses in Trashigang sustained minor damages following the tremors of the 6.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Northeast India, yesterday.

The damages were reported in five gewogs of Phongmey, Yangneer, Radhi, Thrimshing and Kangpar.

Majority of the damages, 18 houses, were reported in Thrimshing Gewog.

All the houses are insured. Dzongkhag officials and those from the Insurance companies are still assessing the damages.
