A one year, nine month old baby girl has been killed in an accident at Lingmithang in Monggar yesterday.
The baby was with a relative who had taken her along to the town when the accident occurred. Her parents were at work at the time.
The relative had just stepped inside a shop to buy something when a taxi came and hit the baby.
The taxi driver has been detained by the police.
