Three Bhutanese received awards in different categories at the second South Asian Youth Summit held in Sri Lanka yesterday.
Kezang Dorji, a rapper, received the South Asian Youth Award while Jigme Dorji, the founder of VAST-Yangtse was awarded the Youth Inspiration Award for Arts.
Tshering Dorji, the founder of Evergreen Bhutan in Trashi Yangtse, won the Youth Inspiration Award for Sanitation and Environment.
The South Asian Youth Award is a premier prize and highest honour, which celebrates the greatness of spirit and transformative leadership in Asia.
Over 350 youths from the member countries competed in various award categories.
