Another Rabies case in Trashigang has emerged after a cat tests positive for Rabies. This is the third Rabies case to be reported this year alone in the Dzongkhag.
The rabid cat had also bitten a girl last week. The girl is currently undergoing anti-rabies vaccination treatment.
The cat is suspected to have been infected by one of the rabid dogs in Rangjung, which died earlier this month.
