National Land Commission’s Legal Head, Karma Jamtsho is the latest person to be arrested in connection with the alleged land scam involving the former Chang Gup Naku.
The case is being investigated by the ACC.
Karma Jamtsho was arrested on Wednesday midnight.
With Karma Jamtsho, there are now three people in police custody associated to Chang Gup Naku’s land scam.
Gup Naku, who was arrested Thursday morning, last week, is still receiving treatment in the National Referral Hospital.
The Chief Executive Officer of Bhutan Telecom Tshewang Gyeltshen arrested last weekend and the recently arrested Karma Jamtsho are being kept in two different rooms to avoid collusion and distortion of any evidence or information.
