The out-going Bangladeshi Ambassador Imtiaz Ahmed made a farewell call on the Prime Minister, Jigmi Y. Thinley, today.
Ambassador Imtiaz Ahmed, who came to Bhutan in October 2010, thanked Lyonchhen, the government and the people of Bhutan for the support and cooperation he received during his tenure.
Lyonchhoen thanked the Ambassador for his contributions. Lyonchhoen congratulated Ambassador Ahmed for being appointed as the new Ambassador of Bangladesh to Portugal and wished him the very best.
The two leaders also spoke of the important agreements and MoUs which were signed between the two countries.
