Team TYT from Bajo in Wangdue Phodrang won the first Yab-Yum good football tournament in Punakha on Sunday.
The winning team scored 2 goals while its opponent team CONFRA had nil goal. The soccer match was played for the first time on the mini artificial turf of the Ugyen Accademy.
The tournament which kicked off on July 3 saw teams from Wangdue and Punakha competing for the winner’s title.
Organised by Ugyen Academy’s football club, the sports event was dedicated to the Yab and Yum of Their Majesties the Queen Mothers for their good health and prosperity.
