Team Ratna wins this year’s Coronation Silver Jubilee National Archery tournament

Team Ratna won  this year’s Coronation Silver Jubilee National Archery tournament. In the final match stretched from June 8th to 10th, team Ratna won the match in the deciding game against Rigzhung Nyamro.

22 teams from across the country participated in the tournament. Winners were awarded each a pair of Nga  (drum) and certificates. The runners up were also awarded statue of Jambayang and a certificate each. The tournament was first organized in 1999 coinciding with the Silver Jubilee Celebration of the Fourth Druk Gyalpo. Bhutan indigenous Games and Sports Association organises the tournament every year.
