Desuups-TeacherAround 123 teachers from all the dzongkhags are being trained in the military training center in Wangdue Phodrang as Desuups. This is the 10th batch of Dessups who are being trained and the third batch for the teachers.

The teachers will be trained for three weeks. The training will focus on disaster management, panel sessions, shooting, river rafting, culture and tradition and team building. There will also be sessions where guest lecturers from different organisations come and interact with the Desuups.

The De-Suung Integrated Training Programme was instituted under the Command of His Majesty the King to be a value based personal development programme. It is aimed to encourage citizens to be active in the greater role of nation building.

The Programme was first launched in February 2011.
