His Holiness the Je Khenpo consecrated the Tashi Dedhenling Lhakhang in Genekha in Thimphu, yesterday.
Hundreds of locals attended the ceremony.
The lhakhang which took six years to complete was constructed at the cost of more than Nu.8mn.
The land on which the lhakhang is constructed was offered by a private individual.
Locals attending the consecration ceremony also received Ngedrup Lhawang from His Holiness the Je Khenpo.
