Supreme Court passes verdict on Sonam Phuntsho versus Tandin Bidha caseThe Supreme Court passed the verdict on Sonam Phuntsho versus Tandin Bidha case, yesterday. The verdict has asked Tandin Bidha to pay Nu 18 M to Sonam Phuntsho within three months. If she fails to pay the amount, the verdict says, Sonam Phuntsho will have the right to take possession of half of the building owned by Tandin Bidha and her daughter Sonam Wangmo.

According to the verdict Sonam Wangmo had sold the building to Sonam Phuntsho and received Nu 18 M as advance from Sonam Phuntsho. The verdict also clarified who is supposed to pay the loans for the building.
