A 19-year-old student of Damphu Central School died on the spot when the bolero he was travelling in went off the road near Rangthaling Gewog Center in Tsirang yesterday.
The four other people in the vehicle, including the driver, were immediately taken to the district hospital and are now in a stable condition.
They were on their way to Damphu town when the mishap occurred.
Police suspect narrow road and busy traffic as the cause of the accident.
