Strike in Assam likely to hamper Bhutanese Travelling to vote

The 12-hour strike in the Indian State of Assam is likely to hamper Bhutanese travelling to vote in the southern parts of the country.

The strike called by the All Adhivashi Students Association of Assam will begin from 5 am tomorrow in all the Assam area and will go on until 5 PM on the same day.

According to the information from IC Mela outpost in Daranga Assam, the strike is in pursuit of their demand for the schedule tribe status among others.
