With the monsoon creating havoc in most parts of the country, the National Center for Hydrology and Meteorology in Thimphu shared yet another forecast for heavy to extremely very heavy rainfall during the next 24 hours.
Active monsoon conditions are likely to continue. The southern and eastern parts of the country are likely to receive very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall during the next 24 hours (27th June) and heavy rainfall on the 28th June. During these periods (27th and 28th June) the rest of the country is likely to receive light to moderate rain.
Gusty wind with thunderstorm is also likely over isolated places of the country associated with the heavy rainfall.
