The border gate of Samdrup Jongkhar will remain closed from today until 5pm tomorrow due a strike along the highway in Assam, India.
The strike was called on by Kuch Rajbongshi Student Union against job reservation and demand for a separate state.
Passage of Bhutanese vehicles will be restricted along the Assam Highway until the strike is called off.
