A 21 member group of Singapore-Bhutan Foundation visited Laptsakha Primary School in Punakha yesterday morning.
The members are mostly educationists including teachers and principals. The group donated library books, a book shelf, and office and sports equipment to the school.
The donation also included US$ 2,000 for the development of children’s park in the school.
Singapore-Bhutan Foundation is a non-profit organisation based in Singapore. Its vision is to be the leading channel for educational and cultural linkage between Bhutan and Singapore.
Their visit to the country is planned in collaboration with the DHI Infra.
