Tsirang will have seven candidates contesting in the upcoming National Council elections.
The Zomdus for National Council candidates in Tsirang ended with the nomination of Phub Lham, 49, from Damphu Thomdey, yesterday.
Voters from Damphu Thomdey nominated Phub Lham as their candidate with 33-Yes votes and 5-No votes.
She is the only woman candidate from Tsirang.
The other candidates are Justin Gurung from Phuentenchu Gewog, Kamal Bahadur Gurung from Mendrelgang Gewog, Novin Darlami from Gosarling Gewog, Passang Thing Tamang from Tsholingkhar Gewog, Sangay Tamang from Tsirangtoed and Shyam Basnet from Kilkhorthang Gewog.
