Seized commodities worth Nu 16 M auctioned off

ACC

A two-day auction of perishable goods seized by the Anti-Corruption Commission in Phuentsholing, worth Nu 16 M, was sold.

ACC had seized commodities worth Nu 28 M from various shops for corrupt practices such as, tax evasion, commercial bribing, deflection of goods, and fronting.

ACC will re-auction rest of the goods soon,
ACC has also suspended the business licenses of a few shops.

The auction was held in coordination of Phuentshogling Dungkhag and Thromdey, assisted by ACC.
