Even before the people in Samdrup Jongkhar could heave a sigh of relief for having endured a 72-hour-long strike in the Indian State of Assam, another 120-hours-long strike has been called.
The strike will restrict the movement of vehicle through Assam which will again affect the border town of Bhutan. There is no internal road connecting these towns.
The strike came into effect from yesterday, in continuation to the previous 72 hours strike. But the message reached Bhutan only in the afternoon today.
The strike will be for five days and will last as late as Sunday evening.
The strike this time is called by Adivashi group all over Assam.
